Conflict at work/home (therapy program)

1 hLondon

Service Description

This therapy program is designed for individuals struggling with ongoing interpersonal conflict, whether in professional settings or close personal relationships. Conflict may show up as repeated arguments, miscommunication, avoidance, resentment, passive-aggressive behavior, or difficulty asserting needs without guilt or escalation. You may feel stuck in cycles of defensiveness, misunderstood intentions, or emotional reactions that spiral out of control. Whether the issue is a strained relationship with a colleague, manager, partner, parent, or adult child, unresolved conflict can create lasting emotional stress, affect self-esteem, and undermine your ability to feel safe or respected. The goal of this program is to help you understand conflict patterns, regulate emotional responses, and build communication tools to navigate relationships with more clarity, confidence, and emotional balance. This therapy program integrates several evidence-based models, including: Psychoeducation on conflict styles, emotional triggers, and attachment dynamics that may shape your reactions. CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) to examine assumptions, overgeneralizations, or negative beliefs that fuel misinterpretation or defensiveness. DBT-based emotional regulation tools to stay grounded during heated moments and reduce reactive behavior. Nonviolent communication (NVC) principles to express needs clearly and listen with empathy, without blame or withdrawal. EMDR therapy, when appropriate, to reprocess past experiences (e.g., childhood conflict, workplace betrayal, invalidation) that continue to shape your responses. Boundary and assertiveness training to help you advocate for yourself while preserving relationships. Please note: This is an adaptable roadmap. Conflict is relational and complex, and therapy will focus on the patterns, history, and goals specific to your situation.
